How the Mexy brand was created

Mexy was born out of a love for sewing and design, a hobby that has been with me since childhood. In my youth, I spent time sewing clothes for myself, especially when I was involved in ballroom dancing, where I had the opportunity to embellish and create my own costumes. Gradually, as I gained experience, I expanded my skills beyond the dance scene.

Our brand Mexy was officially formed after years of preparation and custom sewing. I started as an amateur with a home sewing machine until I gradually built up enough courage and experience to create my own brand. The first steps of the Mexy brand were directed towards producing clothing with personal designs since 2016. This period was particularly important to me, as I was still combining work in the IT sector with nighttime sewing.

Thanks to the initial success and positive reception of my creations, I eventually decided to devote myself to Mexy full-time. This decision allowed the brand to develop more quickly and expand its offerings to include specialized clothing for nursing mothers and maternity dresses, which are not only stylish but also practical.

Today, Mexy boasts a wide range of clothing that includes everything from evening dresses to wedding gowns. We are proud that our products are designed and made in Europe, ensuring quality and originality for our customers. Our goal is to offer clothing that not only looks good but is also functional and comfortable.

In the production of Mexy brand clothing, we place a great emphasis on quality and sustainability. All our products are sewn in Slovakia by experienced seamstresses who put not only their skills but also their love into each piece. With this approach, we ensure that the clothing not only looks beautiful but is also long-lasting and functional. At Mexy, we aim to be environmentally friendly, which is reflected in every step of our production process. We strive to minimize waste of materials and use every piece of fabric, thereby reducing waste and increasing the efficiency of our production processes.

At Mexy, we select materials based on their quality and durability. We strive to use fabrics that are not only comfortable and aesthetically pleasing but also environmentally friendly. This approach allows us to provide products that last for many years. One of the key aspects of our sustainability efforts is choosing materials that are kind to nature. We focus on using natural fabrics such as bamboo and linen. These materials are not only comfortable and aesthetically pleasing but also have a low environmental impact during their production and are biodegradable.

Bamboo fabrics are known for their softness, absorbency, and antibacterial properties, making them ideal for clothing even for the most sensitive skin. Linen, on the other hand, is exceptional for its strength and ability to regulate temperature well, making it a perfect material for summer clothing. Both of these materials are excellent choices for sustainable fashion, as their cultivation requires less water and pesticides than cotton.
